Under Construction: I'm doing some updates to the site this week. Sorry for the confusing new look!
Lobby Day was today. I saw Blaine there. Jim wrote a very touching story about why opposing this amendment is important. Carson blogged about it and has pictures.
There were lots of people talking about families. Should I feel inadequate as a queer person that I don't have or want a 'family'? It's an important question, because this marriage debate has created a new ideal for queer relationships.
What about the single folks? Is the 'queer club' membership based on coupling and monogamy, with an occasional adopted (or biological) child, or perhaps a puppy?
There was a lot of 'family talk'. I'm curious to see how the freaks, sluts, trannies, fence-sitters, rent-boys, and leather daddies and dykes will fit into the new 'family-friendly' queer culture. I predict the rainbow flag will soon have 2 stripes.
