Heath Ledger's Death Brings Out Bigots
Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church are planning to picket the funeral of Heath Ledger, simply because he acted the part of a closeted gay man in Brokeback Mountain.
And Fox News' John Gibson thought his death was funny.
Opening his radio show with funeral music yesterday, Fox News host John Gibson callously mocked the death of actor Heath Ledger, calling him a “weirdo” with a “serious drug problem.”Playing an audio clip of the iconic quote, “I wish I knew how to quit you” from Ledger’s gay romance movie Brokeback Mountain, Gibson disdainfully quipped, “Well, he found out how to quit you.” Laughing, Gibson then played another clip from Brokeback Mountain in which Ledger said, “We’re dead,” followed by his own, mocking “We’re dead” before playing the clip again.
Bigots and hate-mongers aside, there still is no word on how Ledger died. MTV has a lengthy report on what the authorities and the press know thus far.

Wow! Unbelievable. I knew some whack-job would start making stuff up about this sad situation. The poor guy just wanted to get some sleep.
Hatred and ridicule are the sympthoms of a sick soul in need of spiritual nourishment.
John Gibson is one sick puppy!
Heath Ledger had the guts and the talent to portray a homosexual love with compassion and dignity. Two virtues missing in John Gibson.
Fire him; disinfect his desk.
Replace him with a person valuing kindess, tolerance, compassion and a respect for differences.
