Minneapolis 5th Gayest City

| | Comments (2)
gaypride07.jpgMinneapolis is the fifth most gay-friendly city for travelers according to a survey by Travel and Leisure magazine. The city lost out to San Francisco (obviously), New Orleans, Portland, Ore., and Seattle (by a hair).

The magazine scores the people of Minneapolis as intelligent (2nd), friendly (3rd), athletic (7th) and attractive (8th).

Minneapolis was also the number one cleanest city in the survey. We almost scored the worst in weather, but surprisingly beat out Chicago and Boston.

Feel free to poke around the ratings.

Cleanest? They obviously didn't visit in the Springtime before the street-sweepers did their thing!

Yes, the streets do have an accumulation of winter grit and grime, however I never notice the smell of sewers or detect evidence of people pissing in the street....also, we don't have a lot of trash in the streets. Yes, Minneapolis is a pretty clean city, compared to other big American cities.
